What a twister. The book was not called changes for nothing. I cannot wait to see how the story progresses from here on out.
To be frank. The story was getting a bit stale, but what happens in this book really does open up many possibilities for going forward. There are still many unanswered questions, but I love how each book can be read on its own and still be an enjoyable experience. There is at least finality after each book, unlike an episode from earlier Naruto episodes.
The story has really turned about in this book. I am unsure as to whether it is something that I wanted to happen. I have realised that what I want to happen is generally what leads to the staleness. As can be seen in many successful T.V. series. This is fresh, but still holds true to the series.
If you are unfamiliar with the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher I would highly recommend that you attempt it if you enjoy fantasy / detective novels.
